Heather Simpson has had a longstanding career in public policy and notably working as the chief of staff for Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark for nine years, and within the United Nations.

Heather brings a range of international, project management, commercial, government and governance experience to the Ferry Holdings Board.
