Chris Mackenzie has had a lengthy public service career. Chris led negotiations to buy back New Zealand’s rail assets from 2000 to 2008, he was the independent Chair of the Horizontal Infrastructure Governance Group for the rebuild of Christchurch and was the Chief Executive for the West Coast Economic Development Agency.

Chris brings his wealth of governance, management, commercial, and government experience to lead the Ferry Holdings Board.
